R+P Post 9: Music Videos that have inspired and influenced my ideas

The first music video we took inspiration from was the Blk& Blu video by chase and status:

These are the outfits that inspired us.

Although we really liked the Blk&Blu video and wanted to replicate its style, the whole video is narrative based and we want to include some studio based performance in our video as well as narrative. Therefore we researched some other music videos for ideas on performance.

As our artist is a boy and girl group we took inspiration from the studio shots of Estelle and Kanye West. We also really liked the split screen element of the video and plan to include a similar idea in our video.
