There are many positives about the track that lead us to chose it as our track:
- It is upbeat and catchy and memorable for the target audience
- There is a clear message behind the lyrics about breaking rules and not sticking to boundaries
- Fits with the synth-pop genre with a female singer and male producer
However there are also some negative aspects to the song:
- The song is longer than three minutes which means we will have to cut some of the song from our video
So as not to break any copyright laws, we emailed then record label, Island Records, to ask permission to use the song in our music video:
